One year ago, I made a video detailing how much money my tiny houses made on Airbnb. The comments were...interesting to say the least. I got a lot of flack from people who said I was a fool for extrapolating my #tinyhome projections and data. Which honestly, was a fair point in some regards. Here's the thing, those haters were wrooooooong.

Funny enough, I actually ended up surpassing my prediction by a significant margin. These tiny homes ended up making me tens of thousands of dollars more than I anticipated. Great problem to have lol.

A little background: I've built two tiny houses from the ground up. Tiny home one is an ADU (accessory dwelling unit) located in the backyard of my Los Angeles home. That one cost me $72,000 to buildβ€”start to finish.

My second tiny home is a fully permitted single-family residence in the heart of Joshua Tree. That one is a premium carbon copy of its predecessor. I call it Casita Conejo and it cost me $165,000 to build.

Does anyone read this far? If so, let me know in the comments and I'll know you're one of the real ones :)
